New Directions in contemporary textiles

The Devi Art Foundation, is working on a project leading upto an exhibition on contemporary textiles towards the end of 2013. Attempting to showcase the finest examples of existing Indian Hand-Craftmanship. It questions the role of textiles in today’s design and creative culture. Suggesting an enquiry into current expressions of the textile medium by diverse practitioners across the fields of art and design, it premises innovation and generation of radically new perspectives.
